Our clients are very important to us.
We enjoy good long-term business relationships with them. We have learned that good communication, especially listening, is a key to keeping a good client. At the onset of a new project we strive to define what we will do, when we will do it, and how charges are incurred. If some aspect of a project is not going as well as expected, we will communicate it.
We strive for excellence.
Our goal is to provide quality cost effective work, which does not necessarily mean that the cost for our services will be the lowest in the industry. When the costs for our services are compared to the cost of a completed project, however, it becomes evident to most of our clients that a well-executed design can more than pay for itself. We can give examples of projects where an adequate design budget has allowed us to identify a better solution, and in some cases completely offset the cost of the engineering and surveying on a project.
Experienced project managers.
Our projects are assigned to licensed engineers, surveyors and professional planners who carefully plan and execute the work. Their extensive experience level (most in excess of 20 years) can make the difference between getting a job done efficiently or not. Less experienced staff are guided by senior engineers and managers. Early project planning performed by experienced staff really pays off.
Honesty, integrity and high ethical standards.
The project manager for each project reviews invoices prior to their release to a client to confirm that it is consistent with our agreement for services. If a client ever feels that we have not performed our services as agreed, we listen carefully and follow-up as appropriate.
The average number of years our staff has worked for DMC is 10 years.
We take care of our employees, and they appreciate it. We know that this is also important to our clients, who over the years appreciate getting to know our sincere and motivated staff. Staff and clients who know each other can transition to new projects efficiently.
