We remain current with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment design criteria and are knowledgeable processing projects through this complex agency with cost effective designs, reports and applications. Our staff attends relevant seminars and conferences to remain aware of industry trends and state-of- the-art technology. It is very common for our treatment facilities to be computer controlled, with SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) systems and telemetry allowing remote system control and monitoring. We also maintain a large library of previously completed projects, specifications, and computer generated details that allow us to efficiently customize a design for a project.

WATER SYSTEMS
Water system design includes pumping, treatment, disinfection, distribution and storage. Treatment facilities have included small bag-type filter systems to large conventional sand filtration systems with capacities as high as 4.0 MGD. A recent water system project included several pumping stations, storage tanks, and 8 miles of pipelines. We maintain hydraulic analysis software that can analyze all elements of a water system and allows us to efficiently evaluate alternatives and forecast the impact of growth.


WASTEWATER SYSTEMS
Wastewater systems we design have included advanced onsite septic systems, pumping stations, recirculating sand filters, rotating biological contractors (RBC’s), and extended aeration activated sludge facilities (sequencing batch reactors). Disinfection designs have included chlorine disinfection and ultraviolet disinfection systems to capacities up to 4.6 MGD.  We have designed wastewater collections systems that extend for miles, providing effective wastewater solutions for hundreds of residents.
