Highly qualified applicants will be self-starting, team players with outstanding communication skills, and 4 to 8 years project management experience.  Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) registration is desired, but Engineering Interns (EITs) will be considered based on quality of experience, ability to manage multiple projects, and continuous progress toward registration.

Del-Mont engineers handle all facets of site planning and land development.  We work closely with clients from project conception, through the public review and approval process, and through construction, often managing contract preparation and administration.  Typical projects include designing drainage, municipal and utility infrastructure, water and wastewater systems, roads and easements, and subdivision or commercial site layouts.

CIVIL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER

Del-Mont Consultants, Inc., located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, has an immediate position for a civil engineer project manager with land development experience.

Highly qualified applicants will be self-starting, team players with outstanding communication skills, and four (4) to eight (8) years project management experience.  Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) registration is desired, but Engineering Interns (EITs) will be considered based on quality of experience, ability to manage multiple projects, and continuous progress toward registration.

Duties include:
Oversight of project design, coordination with governing agencies and fellow consultants
Client communication and representation throughout the public approval process
Preparation of engineering plans
Computation of grades, earth quantities and material estimates.
Utility, grading and drainage analysis and design
Roadway design
Hydrology analysis
Stormwater management and erosion control design

Requirements:
Skills in managing multiple projects including client requirements and timelines
Familiarity with AutoCAD/LDD
Proficiency with MS Office Software
PE License, or EIT certification and eligible to take PE exam
Excellent client service attitude
Must be a problem solver with good analytical and team building skills
Must work independently with clients, consultants and municipalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of surveying is a plus
