Del-Mont’s surveying capabilities includes research and compilation of historic records, and performing boundary, topographic, route, and construction surveys. Most of those surveys result in the preparation of legal descriptions, plats or maps in accordance with local and state requirements. We set aerial control points for aerial topographic mapping for several aerial mapping firms. Projects commonly range from small tract surveys to route surveys that extend hundreds of miles across state lines.

Del-Mont maintains the latest in survey equipment including survey-grade and mapping-grade Global Positioning Systems, better known as GPS. It is not uncommon for survey crews to work all day at a remote site, then download the day’s work via modem at a motel to distant office locations. This technology allows Del-Mont to serve its clients in a timely and cost effective manner while
providing a very high degree of accuracy

GPS puts Del-Mont on the leading edge of survey technology and productivity. In addition to the Trimble GPS, field crews utilize four Total Stations with electronic data collectors, lap top computers,
theodolites, 4 x 4 vehicles and ATV’s.
